Persistent Little Fella

I was surprised to find one of my paper-doll self-portraits still (sans feet) intact on a sign on East Ave. near Spot Coffee about a year and a half after placing it on the street.

My Drawing Kit!

I just bought a new Timbuk2 bag to hold all my drawing supplies for when I go out sketching. It doesn't take much to make me gidd... er... happy.

Sketch Crawl

I wasn't quite on my own as I had the company of another first time sketch crawler (Julia). The weather was kind of crappy so we decided to draw inside the Natural History museum and the Arboretum on the National Mall.

I haven't been working on this one as quickly as I should be. But it's the holidays, so I have a good excuse. I even meant to post this about 2 weeks ago before I left VA for NY. I'll catch up I swear!

also: The pic reference I have looks strikingly similar to one I saw online, hopefully no one will yell at me about it from the internets.
